PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Graduates will have a strong foundation in mathematics, science and civil engineering subjects in order to solve contemporary issues in civil engineering.
Graduates will have developed lifelong learning skills to pursue higher education and engage in research and development in civil engineering and allied areas of science and technology.
Graduating engineers will have professional and ethical attitude, necessary soft skills, leadership skills and multidisciplinary approach so that they can relate engineering issues to a broader societal context.

PROGRAMME OUTCOME

An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering to problems related to civil engineering.
An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data in the interdisciplinary arena of civil engineering.
An ability to design civil engineering systems and components, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams
